Repetetive...but kind of funny.
It's ok, just after the first minute, everything is exactly the same, just the time changes... which is funny since you see a mom and her baby out at 2:00 AM.XD Also, the people fall down like they die after getting hit with paintballs, those people must be weak as heck... Anyway, needs some work, but near decent.

I remember back then.
Sonic the Hedgehog was one of the first games I played for the Genesis. It brings back old memories, that was when I became hooked on video games when I was 6.
It had a few problems, but was good.
A helpful thing to do would to be when you go to the boss part to be have full health again. I'd think you would be extremely good at this game as you guys made it, but think of how you make the levels as you are a person that has never played the game. And the voiceovers were a bit low quality. Anyway, it was a good game, but still has some stuff to work out. If its a battle mage, it should probably start out with at least 1 spell, also.

The voiceovers were a bit of a disappointment for me as well, I plan to go another route for voice actors next time.
And with the spell thing; I see the point, but the story involves a man with no magic to speak of becoming a BattleMage. BM2 will likely start with a super-powered Josh, to allow the user both to get a feel for the controls and early access to awesome abilities.
